In the beginning of April, we received Seth Phillips for a one week internship.
Seth is studying forestry and horticulture in North Carolina and has a desire to use that knowledge as a missionary in another country some day. He came to get some on-the-ground experience with the staff at DDL.
In addition to hearing about our heart and our approach, he helped Williamso prepare some of his land for a personal reforestation project (more about that another time!).
He also helped Luccene prepare seedlings in the shadehouse.
Before leaving, he gave us a very helpful training session about pruning trees, which is an aspect we're not fully expert at yet. Thanks, Seth!
