Thanks to a donation of computers from Vermeer Canada Inc., our seventh (and eighth and ninth) graders each can sit at their own laptop and learn how to use it! This was the first day they used the computers in class. Before, computer classes were a lot of theory with limited and shared use of 2 or 3 computers. Now, the kids will have far more chance to practice what they are learning!
Technology is still a major challenge on the Plateau, yet a vital skill to have in today's world. Directeur Almaïs has been teaching a computer class to the third-cycle classes for a couple years, and his job will be a lot easier - and more engaging ! - with the addition of the new laptops.
