Yesterday was Dizwit Me (May 18th)–Haitian Flag Day!! The school held a special assembly, during which presentations were given 0n the history and importance of the creation of the Haitian flag. Afterwards, they even organized a small parade! They went a short distance on the road, and then came down the airstrip.
We never get to see parades around here, so it was a fun occasion!
