You may remember Kenol as the second grade teacher from last year. This year, Kenol has been hired as the French teacher for ALL the classes. His sole focus is teaching the kids better proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking French. We’ll give you a glimpse of French class one day, but in the meantime, here’s a little bit about Kenol:
Q: What year did you begin working for Lemuel? Kenol: I’ve been working for Lemuel since 2015. Q: What gives you the most joy in your classroom? Kenol: What gives me the most joy in the classroom is the motivation of the students. Q: What is the biggest difficulty you encounter in your work as a teacher? Kenol: Up to now, I have not encountered any major difficulties in my work as a teacher. Q: In your opinion, what importance does a teacher have within society? Kenol: A teacher has a lot of importance in a society, because he is a guide—a model to help the students understand society. Q: if you were to describe your class with one word, what word would you use? Kenol: If I was to use one word to describe the classes this year, I would use the word “motivation.” Q: In the future, what do you hope the kids who are in your class today can offer their country that the previous generation was not able to offer? Kenol: I hope that my students today can be an example that is good for the country—that they can become a model. Q: What are you teaching the kids today that can help them attain this objective? Kenol: The education I am giving the kids and the way I teach can help them realize this. With patience, the dream can be attained. Q: What teacher had the biggest influence on you as a child? How? Kenol: The teacher who most influenced me as a child was my 6th grade teacher. Q: In 5 years, what would you personally like to accomplish? Kenol: In 5 years, I would like for the kids in the school to be able to speak better French. Q: What importance does your faith in Jesus Christ have in your life? Kenol: My faith in Jesus Christ has a lot of importance for my life. It gives me hope for living.
