The bus got new tires! Just look at that tread…
And as a result, Anna began its new job this week as the school bus. Some of the children attending Lemuel’s school walk 2-3 miles one way to get to school every day—little children as young as 3-4. They arrive at school tired, dusty, and sweaty, and then after a long day of classes must walk home under the blazing afternoon sun. For a long time, we have wanted to provide vehicle transport for them, but have simply been unable to do so.

But she was soon joined by others.
Even the professors from Anse-Rouge appreciate the lift.
The kids were all so excited. Every time I looked back they were giggling and grinning. (Sorry about the blurry photo; the lighting was low, and the bus was jolty…as those of you who have been privileged to take a ride in it will know.)
Please pray for our bus, that we would be able to keep it in working order on the rough and rocky roads, so that it can continue to serve the kids in our community in this way.
